سیکیورٹیز اینڈ ایکسچینج بورڈ آف انڈیا (SEBI) نے برائٹ کام گروپ اور اس کے پانچ اداروں پر مالیاتی بے ضابطگیوں اور سے تک غلط بیانی کی وجہ سے سیکیورٹیز مارکیٹ سے پانچ سال کے لیے پابندی عائد کر دی ہے۔ The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has banned the Brightcom Group and its five entities from the securities market for five years due to financial irregularities and misstatements from 2014-15 to 2019-20. سابق چیئرمین ایم سریش کمار ریڈی اور ہدایت کار وجے کانچارلا پر بھی پابندی عائد کی گئی اور ہر ایک پر 15 کروڑ روپے کا جرمانہ عائد کیا گیا۔ Former chairman M Suresh Kumar Reddy and director Vijay Kancharla were also banned and fined ₹15 crore each. سیبی نے کمپنی پر سرمایہ کاروں کو دھوکہ دینے اور پروموٹروں کو بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتوں پر حصص فروخت کرنے کے قابل بنانے کا الزام لگایا۔ SEBI accused the company of defrauding investors and enabling promoters to sell shares at inflated prices. گروپ کو اب اپنی ذیلی کمپنیوں کے لیے درست مالیاتی بیانات ظاہر کرنے ہوں گے۔ The group must now disclose accurate financial statements for their subsidiaries.
